saw it happen to a family of four after first goal

I'm not one of that brigade but I have sat in the home end at WHU. Wasn't planning to cheer if we scored though as would rightly expect abuse, was a shit 0-0 game anyway so no bother :)

I personally would love to go to a match with a mate and sit with him and enjoy the banter.

where i was sat the forest fan was causing no trouble, they just went 3 up and we all knew we are not coming back from this.

I am as p!ssed off as the next blue regarding the result but I dont want to stove someones head in or get him ejected for just enjoying his day out.

and whilst we are on the subject well done all the blues in the colin bell stand who gave forest a well deserved standing ovation as they left the pitch.

gutted its not us going through but well done forest.

I totally understand that I would be unable to sit with the other teams fans without being assaulted. To me it just seems moronic.

I would love to be able to go the game and have a beer whilst watching the games. If attitudes remain as they are, this will never happen.
