I watched the most of the game today but when they got their second i turned it off, even when we were a goal ahead we looked un-confident. Its unfair to blame Hughes entirely for the loss but he obviously has trouble getting the players to play for him, he's proven his ability as a manger so it really is all down to the players not giving it everything.

Absolutely right, but it's the managers job to motivate the players and get them to play for him and bring out the best of them.

If he can't then what does that say about the manager? He cannot be that good then. The best managers can get the best out of every player, good or bad.

If you can't then you obviously are not a good enough manager to manage the players you've got.

Does a new tesco manager change his entire staff at the new store he goes to, or does he have to work with what he's got and get them to work for him?
