Forlan or Torres?

Forlan, can hit beauty's with both pegs. Plus he puts in more effort.

Torres is by far the better player, but I wouldn't like to see either of them at City tbh. Dzeko, on the other hand, I can live with.

Forlan has been class everywhere he has played and just led Atletico to the Europa Cup title. Followed that up by being named top player of the World Cup and you can say Torres is 'by far' the better player?

I think people are a bit in love with Prem players and because they don't watch Forlan on a day to day basis in La Liga it is clouding their opinions.

no way...Forlan is the superior fotballer. He came to United as a young player and failed, but he has been of the highest quality for years now. He has alot more to his overall game than Torres. Also Athletico fans rate Forlan as the better player, despite Torres being one of them

Forlan had a great World Cup, and on the basis of what he's being doing in La Liga for the last five years you'd have to say he's one of the top strikers in the world. Which seems ludicrous considering how he was at United. However, he's 31. Torres, prior to the World Cup, has arguably been the best striker in the world over the last few years, and is only 26. It's a no brainer.

it makes me laugh how people would say no to signing Torres on the basis of one World Cup, he's still quality. If thats the case then nobody would want Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, Kaka, Drogba, Ronaldo, Anelka, Ribery.

I guarantee that if we did buy him then everybody who's saying that they dont want him now will have changed their minds. In a way its happened with Silva, he played shit against Switzerland but because we've bought him its now 'he's not been given a chance'.

If we did sign Torres it would be our biggest signing so far and would be amazing, no matter whether he's injury prone or not.

100% fucking correct!

Fixed due to RSC Syndrome great player too injury prone wouldn't touch him now.

Torres. Though with him possibly injured and almost certainly needing a prolonged break perhaps now wouldn't be the best time.
