Jesus.

Was anyone else at that infamous 11.15am kick-off when Sun Jihai and Li Tie made City and Everton big in China?

Sun Jihai came on for 2 minutes at the end and Li Tie wasn't even in Everton's squad.

And now he's going to prison for taking bribes, trying to influence referees, and paying other clubs and managers to lose games.

He will go to an appeal court and get it down to 10.

It was a dreadful game at a horrible kick off time
The only people playing football at that time should be kids or Sunday league beer monsters piling out of a Ford Transit at Greenbank and Hough End

Wasnt that the surreal game when Mills scored?

Yes, and a late Vassell goal to wrap it up, if memory serves.

I also seem to remember that it had fuck all to do with Chinese TV either. Everyone just assumed that because we both had a Chinaman.

I think it was rearranged for Sunday from the Saturday quite late because Everton had played on the Thursday in the UEFA Cup and Sky already had a 1.30 game scheduled. So they just squeezed it in before that.

Life in prison is a bit OTT, there again it is China he's probably lucky he's not getting shot.
