Former Players Lost Millions

Danny Murphy, tough shit, the others not so much
Why ?

If you aren't speaking to the bloke minding your money on a regular basis you're a dick.
If you give someone a load of your dosh without asking the right questions you're a dick.
Proper financial investment people give regular updates, at least quarterly, if you choose to use a bloke in the pub, you're a dick*
If your Danny Murphy you're a dick.

*@BlueTaylor91 at least you went to someone on the market :-)

I have always said that if I ever came into money of that magnitude I would just buy a house and what I need, I understand why people of modest to medium means invest to try to make their money go further but rich people who do it are just being greedy cunts.

No sympathy here.

I have no sympathy for anyone doing what they love in front of fans. I have double no sympathy for people getting paid vast amount to do what they love.

Iv got more sympathy for my neighbours who were ripped off for their life savings when buy a static caravan. £100k gone like that and some other fucker took it and got away with it, like the rich do.

At least George Best, Merson and many others had fun watching their millions disappear.
These sad fucks were drinking Lidl champagne, shagging £15 hookers and driving a Mini, hoping their 5 million became 5.4 million.
All the while their financial experts were doing what Best, Merson and others were doing

There is a moral to this story but I'm damned if I can figure it out.

Fuck me, the Telegraph is now likening this to the 'Post Office Scandal'.

When exactly did a former footballer go to jail for an offence he did not commit ? When did one commit suicide because of the shame ?
When did a footballer get ordered to pay thousands of pounds they never stole to a corrupt organisation?
Apparently the bbc are doing a documentary about it all called Footballs Financial Shame and those linked to it are hoping it will have the same impact ITV's Mr Bates v The Post Office.

Dear oh dear.
