It's strange how when you read the Tweets between Keys and Halsey, Halsey just drops in there like some sort of throw away comment such as I had chips for for me tea, although it was within the context of the Twitter convo, why do it that way, Halseys been retired since 2013 and has never come out with this bombshell before.

Maybe he feels like we have been shafted when it's very clear mariner saw it,a good time to spill the beans although a couple of days ago may have helped us better

Either way round it is much the way a lot of us thought events re football officiating went. There does seem to be an awful lot of game time that officials 'are not seeing'! If they aren't 'seeing' the stuff they say they 'aren't seeing' then as match officials it's a matter of incompetence. If they do see them and think nowt of them, and then perjure themselves by saying they haven't seen something they did see and either gave nowt or let play continue when they should have done summat they are clearly incompetent cheats. If they don't see these incidents at the behest of their 'paymasters' it goes a substantial way to explaining some of the fuckin' nonsense that has come from these people over the last twenty and more seasons.

Can we ever watch another game without thinking that this dissembling bastard with the whistle is gonna shaft us either during the game or in the next few days after the game?

Doesn't surprise me, Andre Marriner lied about not seeing it, its on us to not let them forget about it. As for Halsey, i'd love to know which incidents he was told to say he hadn't seen, as I speak there's probably someone looking for controversial incidents.

The majority of people always felt there was some sort of corruption in football in England,this is only the tip of the iceberg in my opinion,but it's now a damage limitation exercise for the fa and premier league who will do whatever they can to protect the cash cow.The Halsey comments are no coincidence just straight after aguero's three game ban ..

Good point. Keys and Gray hate the english media now,particularly sky sports so they will support him all the way. Really hope this is pursued
