As mentioned the other day, with ad revenues dropping across the industry and hosting charges remaining high, we're having to reluctantly make a few decisions to protect the long-term future of the site during these difficult few months. These are unprecedented times, and once the crisis is over we can look at other solutions, but as a temporary measure we're having to introduce sidebar ads for registered users. These are the same ads that you see on the forum homepage, or when you're not logged in. It should only really affect those on desktop or laptop computers - on mobile or tablet you probably won't notice much difference. Hopefully they're not too intrusive but apologies in advance for any inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.
