While Bombo and Bluecreed may well be bullshit artists they do seem to be getting a hard time unlike the revered Tolmie who posted the following on the 20th May

I was told Three deals have already reached mutual agreements, there are signatures to be concluded.
There is no great secret conspiracy plans by the club to keep this hidden in terms of unveiling etc, there are no concerns about collapse.
Which is why there is nothing in the public domain, everything is on our timetable.
I have no understanding as to why this is the case.

I can't be bothered reading all the previous pages so my update is as follows:
The press are being told only what we want them to know (lessons learnt).
I know we have signed two players and TH has confirmed the 3rd.
The club will make the announcement very soon.

So while they may have posted in good faith what they had to say appears to have been so far wide of the mark as to be useless.

the simple answer is prob 40 years, 20 on each poster. The two mentioned are alot smarter than the other two and are able to word it alot better.

You've probably hit the nail on the head. Like a lot of others, I felt the above was genuine info and fell for it but a fair bit of time has passed since then and the only deal done is Boateng which the whole world and his brother knew about. In hindsight, any one can say agreements have been made and then claim I told you so when 6 months later players sign along the dotted line......

Oh fuck it, said I wouldn't do this but ya ya, boateng, milner and ibra go to the bookies. Ibra I posted about before villa signed for barca my info hasn't changed. Torres and gerrard were never an option according to my info that dosent mean I don't doubt other peoples sources just that different people hear different things.
The other two are dependent on many factors. Also there may well be a twist in the deal with barca that's all folks. Twitcher might not be happy soon.

Also don't label me anything like itk, wum etc I'm just posting what I've been told. I'm not that arsed who we sign I'm sure they will be the best we can get. Things change fast I know we asked about rodwell but were turned down and we wanted balotelli now that benitez is going there who knows he may be back on the agenda, there again he may not. That's what I mean about things changing quickly.

the six were boateng, ibra,bale, milner, yaya and silva with the twist being robinho going to barca for ibra also posted that dzeko was back up to ibra if that went wrong. my hint at balotelli was that id been told that we wanted him but doubted it would happen but the situation may change with benitez going there. also torres and gerrard were not gonna happen.
this was posted at the start of june so want to see how close to the mark my mates info was at the end of the window i will add the dzeko quote shortly cos im crap with computers and cant do two at once

I'm not personally bothered either way, but it's words "done", "signed", "completed", "100%" that cause all the forum rage when nothing does happen.

your right done is the wrong word. In place is better there may be a twist or two in the biggest deal, to which we can have no influence over. All I'm gonna say is dzeko is a back up plan the people i've pmd have the names but have asked them not to post the info.

i think the people who slag of ITK's are just internet warriors so i would just ignore them, in my opinion people post information in good faith and it makes the day a little more entertaining so it doesnt bother me. however what i dnt agree with is telling people to put money on it. i dont have a problem with gambling but deals can go belly up right to the last minute, we saw spursmad go AWOL after he said eto'o and terry were 100%, i think Tolmie goes about it the right way by not promising anything but giving us little snippets.

Balotelli in that's 4 out of 7 for my friends info. Milner will make it 5. Even ibra still a possible he's only got bale wrong so far as he gave me no info at all on kolarov. Not a bad strike rate though. I'm glad balotelli signed as when I posted his info nobody had mentioned him.
