And just to show the bigger picture, I've done a quick calculation on City's amortisation charge and it's likely that, based on the current squad, in 2014/15 it could be something like £50m less than it currently is.

Add that to CL income and the Etihad deal and that's possibly £130m or more on the bottom line, not including the saving on wages as unwanted players leave or their contracts run out.
