FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

I have 3 free transfers SI. Disappointing to see the Saka development this evening; we'll have to see what the next couple of days will bring re news on his injury. At the very least, it appears unlikely he'll be playing against Ipswich on friday evening. Cunha? I'll be amazed if he gets less than a three game ban. He basically assaulted an Ipswich (it was them, wasn't it?) security official. You just can't do that. Maybe looking at bringing in the likes of Wood, Wissa, Mbuemo, Watkins, Jackson or Son (not sure he's the player he was in the last couple of seasons, though).
The good thing for you with Saka being injured is it will free up some funds.

I wouldn't touch Mbuemo, Wissa or Watkins personally. Brentford aren't playing well and have tough fixtures, and Watkins isn't guaranteed to start with Duran banging them in.

There'll be a lot of people potentially selling Saka. Will that have an adverse effect on his price? Fair comment re the Brentford pair. But is Duran destined to be one of those "supersub" players, destined to come off the bench in the last half hour of games? Watkins strikes me as one of the faces of Villa.

Duran has started the last 3 premier league games. Looks to be the first choice striker at present

If Saka is out for weeks then yes his price will drop, I'll let you know when though.

I think Duran has started the last 3 PL game's?

Even if Watkins starts he might only get 60 before Duran comes on.

I have Jackson, Isak and Wood as a front 3, I wouldn't put you off any of them.

I have Isak (not as captain though, dammit). Wood, I am keen on (Oo-err). Jackson, I'm not sure about. He appears to be a bit hot and cold. When he's good, there's not many better in the league. At other times, he traps the ball further than I can kick it!

Saka left the ground on crutches, hamstring apparently, typical FPL before Ipswich at home.

Who to bring in?
The last time Saka went down like this, I went to Foden, and it didn't go so well points-wise.

The problem will be, once Saka is back, are you going to go back to him, and if so, how much (more) is that going to cost (and there goes 2 transfers)?

Of course Arteta will tell us nothing, so it will be a constant guessing game, but I figure I've got bigger problems. Going to think this one over...

Chelsea have a really good run of fixtures. He's nailed although the manager might rotate around the Xmas fixtures. I think he's a better bet at the price than many of the alternatives.

That's the problem with arsenal you don't get information or a timeline. Odegaard being a recent example. Saka could be out a week or six weeks.

I think I'm going to go to a cheaper mid, I have one in mind and then upgrade my defence to taa because we know they are going to double in 24/25 so that will triple me up on them.

Wildcard will be available soon.
The assistant manager chip complicates things I think because will need to save some money when using wildcard to save for a manager.
Think that will delay a lot of people using the wildcard so they don't have money sat in the bank for too long.
