The main aim by waistcoat was for Pickford to hoof it long to our giant up front that is Phil Foden who is able to take the ball on the ground on the half turn and beat his man or lay off the killer pass but no we gave him headers to contest and he’s 5’7””
To be honest, I suspect that the decision to 'hoof it long' was purely down to Pickford. It's his trademark move, and I genuinely doubt that he even looks to see who he's kicking to, in any game. He's thick as two short planks.

He should have been looking for Kane at every opportunity to go long.

Think they will still beat Argentina
who knows in a final. anyone can win. I expect a tight game.....a classic would be 2-1.

Dont get me wrong i ve nothing against the team or france, just French teams of yesteryear had fantastic players who never got to this stage which was a shame. i am neutral for the result, may the best team win.

I m due to win money on france in a sweepstake but for the likes of Zabba, Kun and Alvarez ....Well I d be happy for them if they won!

it's old school football that other managers have worked out, kicking the ball long gives you a 50/50 chance of winning it back, why work so hard to get the ball back only to give it up, players like Foden and Bellingham have learnt to keep the ball and use it,

It's why players like Pickford Maguire Shaw Henderson are in the England team, they are old school players.
Southgate is not good enough for international football and its time for change before It's too late,
