Griezmann is the man for France, he does tie the play together, makes himself available, makes the right passes at the right time.

A bit like Joao Felix, I’ve never really been too fussed about him or bought into the hype.

When Lewandowski gets the ball the entire Poland team stands still and watches him. Nobody moves to offer themselves for the pass.

I’ve watched most of the WC and can’t think of a time when Lewandowski has broken into a trot let alone run. He seems to have done nothing except stroll around the pitch the whole of the WC. On the other hand Olivier Giroud has run around and used his energy well. It may have been another case at this WC of another tournament too many for Lewandowski.
