I worry people are putting far too much pressure on Walker. He's just come back from injury, nowhere near match fit and all the pundits are asking him to pocket Mbappe in the form of his life. I'm a bit concerned he'll end up injuring himself again trying to live up to the expectations.

He’s 32 years old in a World Cup quarter final, this is exactly the kind of match you injure yourself in if that’s what it takes.

Like I said - career defining match.

Great and we all get to enjoy Stones at RB for the remainder of the season.

I think we'll revert to the back 5 formation if we get through. Trippier & Walker doubling up on him.

I will never understand the people who think players are just robots whose one purpose is to win games for City.

He spit his body on the line for this club for 6 seasons, now he’s doing it to try and win something at international level, how can you begrudge him that?

This won’t happen but id go TAA and Walker.

Pinning Lucas Hernandez back by giving him something to defend against is almost as important as stopping Mbappe 1v1 and Alexander-Arnold’s attack with Walker covering for his poor positioning? Seems like an obvious solution.

Trippier will do Ok though.

Because I care about City more than his personal career aspirations. Pretty simple answer really.

Here’s a forward line for you: Mbappe, Messi, Foden.
Mbappe developing into a true great.
