He flew back from his annual winter break in the Bahamas to sign the deal only to find new demands from Swales which meant the deal was delayed I was sat at home waiting on a call to confirm, Yeah the meeting was at the Swan on Bucklow Hill

I think that’s widely acknowledged, Bobby.

My first Wembley visit was that West Brom match in 1970. My first Derby match was his hat-trick at the swamp the same year. He was my hero as a child. Franny always performed in the biggest matches.
