Only Mike left now of the magnificent three
Loved Franny as a player a real blunderbuss with endless energy and power he was the final piece in the team that went on to win so many trophies and were until the Mansour era our greatest team He saved City from Swales and yes it didn't go to plan, did his best with limited resources and was badly let down by others. Had to endure the legacy Swales left for him and the blow of having to rebuild the Kippax and the issues found during construction that swallowed up even more money. Had a table in the Chairman's Lounge and attended lots of games until he moved to Portugal, the last time I saw of him at a game I didn't recognise him, the dreaded cancer got him in the end
He is a true City legend and I'm looking forward to see the statue of the three of them together, such a shame that only Mike will be there for the unveiling
