Got to say Im not sure what to think of this film. I am, however, a Frank fan so will watch the film.

Frank always said he wanted to be in a film!

Two of the funniest nights of my life were spent at Frank Sidebottom concerts. God rest his soul.

Read the Guardian article yesterday. Had to laugh when I read this:

Chris returned to Manchester to a court summons. He owed £30,000 in back taxes. On the day of his court appearance the judge told him it was a very serious matter and had he considered a payment plan?

"Would a pound a week suffice, m'lud?" he asked.

It's true about Chris remaining in character for ages when he didn't have to be.

Back in my mascotting days, we were at Bolton and Frank was going around the pitch with us. We got back to the changing room and got changed to watch the match. Frank was still in the corner telling us about how his mum had ironed his shorts especially for today and she'll go mad that he got mud on them.
After several minutes of persuasion the head came off and Chris (yes, his nose a bit out of shape after wearing that noseclip) was there.

It was just brilliant, typical Frank Sidebottom.

e when Frank was asked to support the boy band Bros at Wembley. There were 50,000 people in the crowd. This was a huge stage for Frank – his biggest ever, by about 49,500 people. It was his chance to break through to the mainstream. But instead he chose to perform a series of terrible Bros cover versions for five minutes and was bottled off. The show's promoter, Harvey Goldsmith, was glaring at him from the wings. Frank sauntered over to him and said, "I'm thinking of putting on a gig at the Timperley Labour Club. Do you have any tips?"

HAHAHAHA!!!!!

Great read uwe!
