Frank Sidebottom has died...

Met Frank (and Chris) last year when he played a weekender in Leipzig. Top gig, top guy. Had my City shirt on and he made a beeline straight for me afterwards. Two Mancs reunited in the heart of Germany.

You'll be missed, Frank.

Surely not a paupers funeral could we all not chip in and try for a contribution from the club?
 
I've been a long time lurker on here but never posted. I've set up a website to get donations for Chris' funeral, and I'd appreciate it if you could pass this around to people. I'm sure we can raise enough for a decent send off for a great bloke.

Good mates with his son, a great lad (Stirling).

Frank (Chris) is the symbol of where i'm from, i used to work in a warehouse in Ardwick and didn't know anyone at first and when asked where i was from("Timperley") i was known as 'Paper Machet Head' for the 5 years i worked there!

Did you know that the man who invented the dye that is painted on sheep was invented by a man from Timperley - a Frank FACT!
