No they are very realistic looking dolls.Not everyone who buys them are substituting dead babies a lot are just pretending they're real, there was a programme on tv about them and some of the women that bought them were a bit weird, they wheeled them out in prams and treated them as though they were real babies.One of them spent a fortune on clothes at harrods and a fortune on prams. She said they were her babies and she loved them because they didn't get dirty.
