Thought if we were to sign any Shakhtar player based purely on how they played vs us it would have been Bernard. Do like the look of Fred though

Pros - Only 24, Good range of passing, is quick, carries the ball well, good engine, decent tackler, good at intercepting, willing to put himself about.

Cons - he's very one footed leading to giving the ball away cheaply(vs us anyway), he's won 1 header in the last 5 seasons of European football, he's weak.

Pros far outweigh the cons and with some tinkering has attributes to be a solid Anchor

Missed Con:
Weight Problem and Diuretic drug test failure (a'la Kolo) and banned for a year. Might not get a work permit as a result of this one though.

There was a reason Fabinho didn't move last summer - several big teams were interest, but none of them went through with it.

I rate him, as do most people, but there must be something behind it that's stopping clubs from signing him. He would have left Monaco last year if so - he wanted out and they would have sold him if someone was really in for him.

Fabinho had his heart set on Paris, but PSG coudln't afford him after Neymar and Mbappé - that's the only reason. Fabinho will still be there waiting for PSG in July, Mbappe and Neymar wouldn't have been.

I trust some of the folks on here have some info close to the top. I accept that things change and shit happens. Just like the info and speculation and make my own mind up about the veracity of it.

Laporte can play in the CL too but not Fred obviously ?
