Think he's a great signing for the rags....might be small but he's a quick, high-energy type midfielder that can pass and score a few as well.(a Fernandinho-lite) Personally feel he offers more than Jorginho. I think Jorginho is the "right" signing for us as he's a better system fit for a Pep team but as far as overall talent, I think Fred is the better player....

I'm not so sure, I think I was in your camp a few months ago. Offensively he's very good. However, defensively, he appears to offer Jack shit. My concern when we were interested in him was that he appeared to be closer to silva, than ferdy in style. As for the reds with him in the side what next for lingard., sanchez and Pogba, who seem to occupy a similar space to Fred. That's b4 u even consider rashford. Good player but I seem him coming in at the expense of one of the above, not as an addition to carry out a dm role. With this in mind I forsee issues for them lot defensively with this signing or with harmony within the group as with the system Jose plays, they ain't all getting in and some will be pissed off with lack of game time.

He'll come in for Herrera if anything, not Lingard, Sanchez or Pogba.
