We were interested in January and couldn't get the player either because we couldn't agree the fee or his club did not want to release him then as I understood it. At that point we must have rated him surely ?

Since then we have had a change of heart ( for whatever reason ) and the rags have moved in on the player.

I don't see what the issue is , as we appear to be the party who decided to pull out of the transfer and move on to Jorginho.

I personally didn't see our games against Shaktar and know little about him, but he must be a decent player but hopefully not as good as the player we have moved on to.
