I thought we were in at £30 million in January when players cost extra? No wonder we changed our mind at 52 now

Was always going to be around 50mil mate...Goal reported we had a agreement in principle for 45mil, back in Jan/Feb.... so it was always going to be around the 45-50mil mark. I actually think the rags are getting a better midfielder and if we hadnt prioritised a Yaya replacement over other needs, I think he could have been a blue. Just hoping Jorginho proves me wrong!;)

Same here,why the fuck would you chose them over us these days unless for money,hope he is bored to death but happy comparing bank accounts with all the others,we have had a complete role reversal this last 7 yrs,mind the gap,please let us do it again next season

What gets me though Kaz is that, while the rags get no media grief at all for continuously splashing out zillions on totally talentless arseholes, we get no credit whatsoever for saying “enough and no more” to players, (& their agents) that we feel are taking the piss.

Can you imagine the media (“ruining the game”) style meltdown that would’ve gone down if we’d agreed to Sanchez’s 600k a week wage demands, rather than the rags, last January.
