Someone like Fred would have been great to have come on or even started. We needed a busy body in the middle as Gundogan and Fernandinho both looked flat on their arse for most of the game

I agree mate. Fern and Gundogan both very solid players but only seem to have one speed. Maybe its the amount of games but they both looked a step slower against Liverpool today...really showed how much we need to improve in this area. Hopefully today confirms to the board that we do need to buy in this window, if we want to stay above the rest..
 
Paying the price for being over sentimental with Kompany, Yaya and Sergio all of whom are looking past their best.
 
The pivot role as played by Dinho is key and Fred could be the answer.

Dinho had an off day today and that’s where we lost it, I hope we get this guy he would give more muscle.

Yep, Gundogan will be better for the games when we have more possession but if Dinho can't keep up then we can't have any passengers at all.
