Anybody had the work carried out yet?
How did it go?

I had it done on Friday, all was fine. Couple of decent lads did it, had a bit of a laugh with 'em, one of them asked for a brew before they even started, I said "fuck me you don't hang around, you could actually do 10 minutes before you want a tea break"

Glad everything went well, we have some good lads fitting for us.
Mostly rags though unfortunately.

How come it's free? Sounds too good to be true.

Had it done a few years ago.

It was free - no catch. Govt. backed energy saving thing isn't it?

Yep.

I can well believe its true. Preston Council funded CWI and would have done loft insulation but our loft was a nightmare.

When you have a tradesman, asking them whether they want a drink is the first port of call.

I always offer tea, water, coffee and soft drinks.

I know, I was just taking the piss at his cheek of asking before I offered which was practically the first thing out of his mouth!

Some good money to be made on the solar feed-in tarrif. You just need the money to invest in them in the first place.
