Free Parking at Wealdstone FC for Community Shield

Hi,

I am traveling by car and on my own, so coming to Wealdstone, and traveling the last leg with a troop of blues, feels appealing!

Can I just turn up, or should I ring in?

We parked here for the Final and I cannot recommend them enough. There was enough people behind the bar so that when you went for a drink you were not waiting for more than two minutes.
Food was spot on and very reasonably priced (a lot cheaper than Wembley and the surrounding areas).

Excellent staff, friendly, children mucking in too. All for a great cause of a small football club.

I'd definitely go again if I was going to the game and I would recommend to fellow blues to use this service and support Wealdstone FC.

I have booked in at Wealdstone & there are 9 of us & kids it sounds good.
My concern now is that I have been told today that when departing the train you walk past the United end & in the semi there were pockets of trouble from the station something with being we young kids we could do with avoiding.
Anybody any experience regarding this route?

^^ Wasn't at the semi mate but there are 500 plus fans leaving from Wealdstone so you should find some fans to link up with as every tube train leaves, you guys won't be alone. I'll be there as well.

Olympic / wembley way outside Wembley Park tube is not a reds only zone, nor is it at one "end" of the ground, it's level with the half way line. So it's neutral. It was the scene of crap last time after the game, as bitter rags hung around looking for shit.

Pre game... walk down it with pride.

If you want to walk with me, you can PM but do be aware I need to get there slightly early (1pm latest) to queue to pick up my tickets, I'll therefore be leaving Wealdstone by 1230.

dont worry about rags! at the semi on olympic way the rags started trying to bully but city fans turned round to face them and it all fizzled out! you will be with other blues..don t worry! my daughter cant come but i would be more than happy to take her after doing the semi and final! the worst they did was fling a few cans from 25 yards! i thought city fans were worse! personally

like i said in an earlier post went from wealdstone both times last season , the people at the clubhouse were fantastic and a credit , short walk to tube right into wembley park and onto wembley way.
was ok against stoke but against them rag twats was very intimedating, had to have your wits about you , had my grandson with me both times, might go watford this time and get train to wembley central, dont want that shit again

Didn't go to either match but have followed these threads and also watched the various vids on Youtube, with fondness

Thanks for your good wishes and returning them back - good luck to Wealdstone for the future.

As De Niro says - could these facilities be used for other London games??

Win Win situation - helping Blues and at the same time, boosting coffers for Wealdstone FC.

Check City out building bridges with all levels of football..... Brentford and Wealdstone FC!!

you are all welcome for any game in london, the FULHAM game on september 17th is a prime candidate as only 30 mins on the tube to HAMMERSMITH on the piccadilly line and a 15 minute walk to the ground.
WEALDSTONE are at home that day in an FA CUP 1ST QUALIFYING ROUND tie so you can help boost the numbers in the bar.

Hope to see you there.
