I dont think City will look at him this summer .. but definitely in summer of 2019 we will be looking at a left footed CB to replace Kompany! Unless Kompany gets another injury this season then maybe Pep and Txiki will have a talk .. maybe ..

Combines the hunger of a teenage rookie with the intelligence of a seasoned veteran. Remarkably confident and incredibly versatile. I wish he was ours.

That's hugely impressive to have such a tactical and technical understanding at a young age. I wonder if we could bring him in, but with the arrival of Fred, game time would surely be limited?

I'd give him another year at Ajax, maybe arrange a deal early, and then have him replace Fernandinho and Kompany in summer 2019. Maybe keep Fern in a squad role depending on how he ages.
