Where did he say it, or where did he intimate he might go? It was reported in the Dutch media, I think, but no mention was ever made of any particular club. Both he and de Ligt are constantly being linked with huge deals. However, I cannot see either player moving in this coming window, hence my reasoning that the best we could hope for is something similar to the Jesus deal: buy and leave. Should we not do that in January and it becomes a protracted process into the summer, with other suitors, then I’d be less confident.
