Frenkie de Jong

Could Barca pay sterling’s wages

they seem to be signing free players to sell but what’s their wage budget like

Wages don't seem to be the issue, more cash flow.

De Jong wages removed would be a considerable saving for Barca, even factoring Sterling on £300k a week.

I'd also argue Raheem would accept less cash to get the right platform and lifestyle for him and his family.

Barcelona ticks every box for him.

I'm sure City could turn that deal around in one phone call.

The players at both ends would snap your hands off.

I'd be pleased for Sterling, but more pleased we had leveraged such a great player in exchange.
Great news!

Is there any concern from management, that we came close to signing him before but he turned us down?
