I am happy De Jong is wanting to stay at Barcelona (maybe down to real lack of interest other the Rags). No need for De Jong at minute.

Has Frenkie De Jong ever played with a conventional, traditional number 6, defensive midfielder beside him.. I'll let you think about that, maybe in the national side. De Roon maybe is the closest to that, but he was a box to box for most of his career, so doubtful. FDJ played in a double pivot where both have similar roles, alternate/interchanging runs, and cover for each other. Like Schöne was.

Frenkie is more like a traditional 90s central, northern euro CM, goes both ways, duplicated roles. Like we where all raised in.

I actually think even Frenkie - Eriksen - VDB could work at United. Just dont pin down FDJ disciplined.
I cant see him coming to City at that price in a rotational role really.

edit: Maybe Daley played beside him at rare times though, in a bit more defensive set up.

And hes got more than twice the salary of Bilva as well..

no not only is Frenkie De Jong shit as a DM he is a shit player inn general. last season he got benched by 16 and 17 year olds and ever barca think he is shit. FDJ should be nowhere near our club.
