He is well within his rights to tell Laporta to fuck off
They offered a massive contract to beat us to him, he went there and he is being paid what Barca agreed
Why should he sacrifice his career, home life and champions league etc to play at united

What Barca need to do is stop lending money and stop selling the rights to the next 20 years

Am I the only one who thinks we should make a move? Perhaps this is what the Sterling money is needed for. Offer him somewhere in between what Barca want to cut him to and what United are offering. An ideal Gundogan replacement in a years time when his contract is up plus we may keep Bernardo for another year but if he won’t sign an extension…plus De Jong is an ideal Pep player.
If we are concerned about being overstocked there, loan him back to Barca for Gundos last year. To see the rags reaction would be hilarious.

Why should he take a pay cut?

He can stay at Barca without taking a pay cut, he and Barca have each agreed a contract between them that guarantees a certain salary for a certain period and while Laporte may not like, that and wish to dismiss their legally binding agreement, it doesn’t alter the facts.

In short; The facts are that Frenkie Ding Dong can stay at Barca until their contract expires, they can’t make him move if he doesn’t want to, and Barca are legally obliged to pay him every damn cent of what they agreed to pay him for the agreed duration.
