Age profile, mentality, technical aspects, ability to play 5, 6, 8 and 10.

Sadly, Gundo and Kev can't go on forever and having Phil, Grealish and De Jong, would ensure our creative spark for many seasons to come.

I would not want to see this guy at any of our Prem rivals. He is one of those rare players who, when on song, elevates those around him.

Since its obvious Bernie wants to join Barca or at least abroad for a few years now, can we not come up with a specific transaction between the two clubs. As it seems its in the best interests for both clubs -short & long term.

One transaction for City to acquire De Jong this summer & relieve Barca of his wages this year & which we should be able to afford with the net profit made so far this year. Also allows Barca to register their outstanding players. A second transaction/contract to take place next year where Bernie is allowed to move to Barca for the agreed fee & only hits our books for next year - assuming Barca pay as agreed giving them time next year to execute their seemingly endless commercial levers. The two transactions are separate which look good for the books for both clubs, but are mutually linked to each other for contract agreement.

At this point i’d do Bernardo + £15mill for FDJ. Bernardo has made too much noise for me now and it’s obvious he will leave next season if not this, FDJ is world class and would fit our squad and style, he would also massively improve any of our rivals.
