No one is %100 certain, so there’s a chance he could come to us if circumstances were right then. Players and agents are out for themselves, best not to believe much of the stuff they spout imo.
Not many will pass up the opportunity to play for Guardiola in the club with the best chance of winning trophies in Europe atm. Just my opinion of course and I have absolutely no info at all that anyone else cant access.

Different type of player, but genuine world class and they don’t come around very often. If Bernardo’s missus wants to move on, then we don’t want a distracted player who can walk out next summer. Let’s be honest here, Bernardo (my favourite City player since he’s been here) was largely anonymous the prev season and flitted about in the first half last.
He strikes me as a sensitive type (only an opinion) and maybe his priorities aren’t City anymore. We need them keen and hungry……..

Furthermore I just wonder where FDJ will play in our new look system given that the “Stones role” requires someone who is just as capable in CB as he is in DM.

He was literally playing the exact same role that Stones plays here for us while still at Ajax.

Personally I don't see it happening but he played as a CB/CM while there, so he'd be fully capable of playing that Stones role.

Fucking hell. I’m not being funny mate but is that your idea of it all being true? If everything they said was true Bale would have had a 10 year spell at The Rags. He didn’t want to go to United either. If you’re still at the stage of believing your average red top headline then there’s no point in carrying this on. You believe he’s coming if you like. You said you were %100 certain he wasn’t. I was merely pointing out that I doubted that certainty. It IS possible, if not probable- that’s all I meant. I have always said, I don’t believe anything completely, that I read or hear in the media. Neither do I believe folks claiming to be itk.
It seems there MIGHT be mileage in the bernardo/FDJ exchange that MIGHT suit all parties.

Exchange deals are very rare...(waits for someone to mention Danilo/Cancelo) (yawn). I don't know why it is mentioned so often why don't we swap player x for player y etc etc. They are complex because every deal has to have it's own individual value, both players need to agree (plus wives..another groan!) plus all the other variables.
