We were linked with him before he made his move for barca. If I recall correctly the salary he was offered swayed him from joining us. They offered him 350k a week. Sounds very much money driven.

The key point being Barca offered a salary they ultimately couldn’t pay… you’d think FFP would have an interest in such shady practices… but no.… we remain the ones under the microscope.
