Not arguing that, but UK eggs are fine for about 3 weeks at room temp whereas American ones would spoil.

Sailors smother eggs in vaseline, and they stay fresh for over a year apparently.

Without air getting through the porous shell, nothing goes off.

They are 3 times the size of other eggs, push their way to the front and their mothers are very loud.

I keep it in the fridge, but you know a good tip.. if you're working away and your room doesn't have a fridge.. just put the plug in the sink and fill it with cold water and put your cans in there, that'll keep them cool
