Froch Vs Groves

I love Froch I also rate Groves highly. No doubting about it this fight has the makings of a brilliant fight. Too early for a fighter is the biggest load of bollocks I have heard. He will be ready he is fighting for a World title in another domestic big fight. I think this will go the distance. The thing is with boxing and a fighter getting on like Froch he could just show signs of coming to a end. He is by far the best fighter from the Uk and he has boxed anyone thats what I love about Froch. He so deserves his Sky Box Office status and I am happy for him to have it. The undercard has Quigg fighting a nobody more than likely after his last fight. Its just a shame that they couldnt make Quigg V Frampton on this big night as that would be the best Bristish PPV they could ever have. Should be a good night no matter what.

Froch is a quality boxer who has shirked nobody, he's the best pound for pound fighter in Europe and up in the top 10 in the world.. Groves is a good fighter but he will get burned by Froch around round 7 I reckon

IF anyone hears of any spares for this, I'll take them! After 2 for Mr Bloomers, as I'm a nice wife like that :)

I want to see the Froch vs Ward rematch.

It's going to be electric. Froch is better then Calzaghe imo. Groves acting billy bollocks when he's done nothing.

Froch showed nothing against Ward as Ward is a slippery mofo and one of the best out there. I saw nothing before during or since the Ward fight that Froch can beat him, even when Froch did catch him it seemed to not bother him. I love froch but that Ward is just another level completely

Groves is a good fighter. I think this fight could well go down as a classic British fight. Groves has a good trainer in Adam Booth who will get him in the shape of his life for this fight. I love Froch think he is a fighter that will go down with the greats of boxing from the UK up there with the Benns , Eubanks and Calzaghes thats how highly I rate Froch. Took the harder fights and I would even have him up there in the top spot or close to it. IF he wins and beats Andre Ward and Golovkin then he will be the best fighter of all time from this side of the world.
As for this fight it will be interesting. Groves has a world title in him. Got a decent chin on him and he can bang a bit. To be honest its going to be a lot closer with Froch winning on points and with a rematch to happen another time I wouldnt be shocked. He has the arrogance does Groves as does Froch we know Froch can back it up but this will show just how good Groves is. I honestly think this is 1 of the hardest divisions to win a World title in. Along with the Super Bamtamweights as it is stacked with good fighters.
Froch saying he will retire if he gets beaten as well. I like the way he is thinking. I will retire once I get beaten again. Its like he is now fighting for his life and since then he was brillaint against Bute and Kessiler so this is something of a smaller fight. I just hope Froch doesnt take Groves with a pinch of salt and think all he needs to do is turn up as that will backfire.
Also with Adam Booth involved the undercard could be decent. IF Lee wins at the end of the month expect him back in fighting a eliminator fight for a World title maybe against Barker on this card.

I agree if he beats Ward in a rematch (a huge if) he will go down as the greatest British fighter of his generation, maybe of all time, in my opinion. Never ducked anyone, hasnt fought average fighters (or greats seriously over the hill) to keep his '0' and hasnt been afraid to go abroad to secure the biggest names. A bit of a throw back in that sense and deserves all the plaudits he is finally getting.

Super mid is a good division, and i would add 140-147 as a hot division/weight range - so many good fights to be made between those 2 divisions, Matthysse Garcia was a cracking fight, JMM, Pacman, FMJ, Khan, Peterson, Alavardo, Brook, Bradley, Alexander just off the top of my head.

Mr Calzaghe might not agree with this part lol.

Calzaghe legacy is always slightly tainted for me by some sly dodging in his career sure he fought Hopkins and Jones Jr but 10 years too late and 10 years after he knew they would batter him. Shame about his brittle hands as well, should of fought a lot more

Groves is going to get two things from this fight, a big pay day and right good kicking, he's in way over his head, Froch will smash him to bits inside 5 rounds imho.

-- Thu Nov 14, 2013 8:39 pm --

I stand by what i said, Joe should have done more and earlier to unify the belts, to prove he was the best in his division, but he fought bums and washed up fighters for years, how long was he 'champion' before the Lacy fight, which was seen as a defining fight. Lacy had beaten nobody of consequence before and after the fight and yet it got billed as something bigger than it really was. Since Froch has become champion he's sort out the best and biggest fights he can and for that he gets my respect.

I admire Froch, he doesn't shirk it, he gets in the ring and mixes it and trades blows with the best.

Going for £50 each on Viagogo my friend bought 2 this afternoon.

Shit a brick I had a look on Viagogo......30 sheets service charge for 2 tickets!!! Managed to get two returns at face value by ringing the venue direct.

I have one happy husband and whats more have the remote to myself next Saturday night

Personally think the fight is too early In Groves's career. He might well prove me wrong but I think much like when David Haye was put in with Carl Thompson Haye was caught out by a much more experienced fighter I see the same on Saturday night.

Im puttin froch to win 3rd,7th and might as well pop a few pound on a points win . I really cant see it goin the distance though .

140/147 are fantastic divisions at the moment. Matthysse is an absolute beast and i didnt expect Garcia to beat him but was an awesome fight. Wouldnt like to see Khan stick his chin on a punch from Matthyse. Throw Garcia into the 147 weight and there will be some fantastic fights over the next few years and hopefully involving Kel Brook as well.

As for Froch and Groves, only one winner for me. I just cant see Groves handling Frochs style and busyiness. To much coming forward for him and too much experience. Could be a cracker though.
