Read all sorts of views on this subject, to me though its the nature of the beast, the biggest and the best will attract, its a given, ask Jesus for christs sake ! he was slagged off and laughed at for years before he made it, but he allways had his loyal supporters who believed in him, stuck with him through thick and thinner, they never deserted him, but after being crusified (media) he came back because god (or Arabs ;) believed in him, now instead of a few thousand followers he has billions around the world...........A simplified Fairytale story in my eyes, i`m athiest anyway but I like the analogy. Basically who has the right to tell anyone who and what they are allowed to support, FFS its the easiest thing in the world to `support united` at this point in time, but to nail your colours to the mast of CITY is hardly GLORY HUNTING, not quite yet anyway ;) just one other thing for you `I DO`NT WANT TO BE SURROUNDED` by out of towners brigade, consider this ........Where the f**k are we going to put these massed hordes of vermin type fans ? considering we pretty much sold out every league game last season you knobs ????
I love CITY beyond reason, and I want us to be the biggest team in the world, anyone who says they do`nt admire BARCELONA (and their massive fan base) are either thick or jealous, this is what we need to aspire to...
Any new fans from anywhere are welcome....
ps I could`nt support a team from anywhere else but Manchester, and do have difficulty understanding out of town support, but if you want to support CITY good on you enjoy the ride....
