Is anyone else geting VERY pissed off that we have only signed 1 player since the window opened?? How long have we had to find the players and put in an offer? What are we waiting for!!!
 
Its January, all the big clubs want to keep there top players. Summer is where we might get bigger stars. Most top clubs with stars are in the champions league and why would you want to come to use at the moment where the thought of champions league football is 2-3 seasons off at least.

Other than the RAGs signing two players you have never heard of, who else has signed more than one player? Also how many teams have signed anyone at all? It's not just us.

I'm more frsutrated at all the threads moaning about signing nobody and them being in the wrong forum.
 
I know what your saying but we had Hughes and Cooke say we would be signing at least 5 players, and I know it's early days in the window but we need players FAST

You need to calm down mate. Hughes has already said several offers for other players have been submitted. The ball is in other clubs hands now so chill out. All will happen soon enough.
 
we have put bids for several players ,mark hughes on city web site tells you about the problems we are having

I'd love to see you in a real crisis.....for example a cruise missile was heading towards your kitchen window or you were on the poop deck of the Titanic as it struck the iceberg or you'd accidentally stapled your scrotum to a revolving door with a nail gun.

Looking on the UEFA site yesterday all the first legs were TBD, but the second legs were all pencilled in. Bit strange.
 
In this transfer window, no team wants their top players to go (unless they are skint) so they will hold out and hold out to the last minute and drive a hard bargain. We will do more business, but it will take time. The work is in progress and they nets are out, the negotiations are in progress. They dont want anyone to know (even fans) what they are upto as this will undermind all the good work already done.

I must admit, when it is transfer window, its like rattling wrapped presents to guess what it is working out who we intend to buy "what is it, who is it" its fekkin MAD MAD MAD times














but we all love it really
 
we have only sighned one player because all the teams who's players we have bid for know if we really want them (or desperately need them) we will improve our initial bids lets face it none of them are stupid why not wait a week for an extra million or two.
 
Im happy to wait for decent players like Villa Kaka Toure brothers etc.....
Im not happy though about the players i expect Hughes to buy like Parker, Bell end, Santa Cruz.

Ahh those were the days!! Good wholesome fun and
the start of my love affair with City.

Though sometimes it feels like a failed marriage.

Chill out, we don't want anymore Benjani's.

Clubs like Blackburn are trying to take the piss over transfer fees, a week ago it was "We won't sell RSC unless the bid is huge" now it's "...er, where is the money WE need to strengthen our shite team!!" Let the bastards sweat I say. If we let little clubs take the piss now coz we've got a bit .. ok a LOT of cash we set a precedent for the future. I will stick by this opinion as long as we don't beat at the weekend, If we do my answer will be "Spend some money you tight arab C***!! :-)"

Its not the apostrophe that worries me, but I do feel you should have used a capital K on Kerplunk and a capital M on Mouse Trap. Finally I prefer to spell Ahh with g...thus...Aghhh. Sorry to be pedantic but is important to maintain standards during these trying times.
