"A killer once dubbed one of Britain's most wanted fugitives has been jailed for at least 26 years.

Shane O'Brien, 31, evaded police for three-and-a-half years after he slashed Josh Hanson's neck in Hillingdon, west London, on 11 October 2015.

He fled the UK, changed his appearance and moved around Europe before his extradition from Romania in April."

What a strange man the killer is. I cannot see a good reason for the attack and laughable how he claimed he didn't know the victim was wounded
 
He is obviously a hardened criminal with the help he got to evade capture. Sickening story this and terrible for that lads family. I could almost feel the pain reading the Grandmothers words.

26 years though. Out at 57 with maybe 30 years to go of his life.

Seems like a nice lad.
 
Can see on the CCTV that the victim did nothing wrong. Was just stood there minding his own business when the killer decided to approach him. Hope he serves the rest of his life in a miserable existence behind bars.
 
I have a solution for basxxxds like that.
Amputate their arms.
Tattoo a red letter M
on their forehead.
Send them back to their families, so the families bear the cost of taking care of them.
(Nice to dream I guess....)
