Home and away against Fulham was harder than home and away against Arsenal.

Fulham were good today. Had more energy than us.

We really did look like we’d just played a huge game midweek and were just trying to get through that one.

Álvarez was class! His work rate was incredible and his goal was world class. Haaland was good n’all. Everyone else struggled a bit though.

Grealish was like a petulant teenager in that second half. Poor to see, I don’t like that shit from our players. And his finishing was shit, first half. Hopefully a one-off. Mahrez had a poor game too, putting us under pressure for no reason with lazy play too often (and he didn’t even play most of the game midweek).

But a great three points overall, that were a hard slog to achieve.

Good 60 minutes and fully deserving the lead. After that we got sloppy and let Fulham back in the game. It didn’t lead to conceiving big chances, but we were more busy to derail than play football.

I thought the ref had a good game. Try to let the game flow. He didn’t deserve the abuse from Grealish.

Anyways. We are TOP OF TGE LEAGUE.

That was really tough. They were resilient opponents. Some lax refereeing mind.

Nothing to do with the referee, after a big game midweek, we looked lacklustre and missed big chances in both halves, plus Mahrez and Ederson were wank.

Pretty average performance but, other than the 10 minutes our defenders couldn't pass, I don't remember Fulham looking threatening

A tired group of players resulting in sloppy passages of play. Result was the only thing that mattered. I thought Erling and Akanji were outstanding. Mahrez and Grealish (wound up beyond belief for some reason) were not at the races today. 3 precious points.

Exactly same result and goal scorers as the Fulham game earlier this season 2-1 CITY with Alvarez strike and Haaland penalty
Same order too 1-0, 1-1, 2-1.

Great three points but it looks like we’re going to need to rotate the team pretty soon as a lot of the team look knackered.

Hopefully Chelsea will do us a favour on Tuesday and make it easier for that to happen.
