Donarumma - who were the people telling me over the summer that he is fine under the high ball when I said he was weak with crosses.....its literally every game he is costing us a goal or nearly costing us...he is an amzaing shot stopper but for someone who is 6,5 he is the biggest soft arse ever...if he had an ounce of Edersons bravery he would be world number 1

Fullbacks - both are an issue...NOR tries but he is getting done time and time again...Nunes we know the issues....

Stones came on (and I understand why Pep tried it - Nico G was on his last legs) but he can barely run.....again I said he should have been replaced over the summer

Savihno - sorry but Im done with him....he was through on goal and he bottled it and then tried to buy a foul....he should be in the reserves and nothing more

Pep cannot change this as he doesnt have the players to do so....rodri getting fit gives us more options but that aint happening quickly.....

If Arsenal dont win the title it will be the biggest bottle job in the history of football as we simply are bang average and should be nowhere near them

Our tactical system is also broken, and that has nothing to do with individual talent. Our press is the worst in the league. Our movement and passing out of the back lacks structure. You don't need to buy players to fix those.

Lightweight players all over the pitch, needa healthy Rodri back as soon as possible ,but that won´t fix much of our problems.
 
Pluses - we got the win. Erling and Phil look very potent. Tijjani with his best 50 mins for us but faded badly. Nico was excellent. Cherki showed how to control a game when you are desperate - his quality is something we have to get into the team from the start - he still should have had an assist again but Nico O'R hesitated the finish.

Negatives - we cannot defend against any players with pace and power. Our defending shows that having no full time specialist fullbacks really exposes us.

Donna looked very hesitant and should have done better with a couple of the goals, although he did make a crucial stop at 1-0.

Bernie is now the weak link in the midfield that started - bless him he runs a lot but his ability to create forward actions is now non existent. Not great when your experienced skipper is hacking the ball away all the time.

Savinho is shocking and I don't care if any fan on here defends him & calls me out for being critical - that cameo after being totally rested was frankly awful. Losing possession easily when bringing the ball out, Giving away cheap corners because he is weak in the tackle. Not being a threat when put through by a glorious Erling header. He current form and attitude is shite.

We cannot go on conceding like this and the entire balance of the side once Pep made his subs was wrong and we will lose more games than win if he persists with certain players.

I don't know how we would all have felt should they have scored that chance that was cleared off the line - it would have been title challenge over.
 
Really happy to get 3 points, for Haaland to get 100, Phil to continue his form and for Reijnders to get that goal. Cherki was class when he came on.

The rest of it, deary me. Fulham took their goals really well but we were far too easy to play against. I know we may want to play counter when we are up but we just don't have the defensive solidity to do it - particularly when Pep is fundamentally opposed to making good substitutions.

Ah well, 3 points away and 5 goals.
 
Not much Donnarumma could have done with any of the goals except maybe Fulham's second.

Nunes battled hard but was weak on occasion and gifted Fulham the ball for that goal they clawed back at the start.

Dias too deep all the time. Gvardiol not bad imo and things steadied when he went out to full-back.

O'Reilly gave it everything but needs a break. Nico was fine. Game got worse after he was taken off.

Reijnders had a strong first half and a weak second. Foden should have been given MOTM, not Haaland, who stood still in the second half while Fulham built attacks around him. Doku shouldn't have gone off because then all our threat on the break went with him.

Can't get a consistent 90 mins out of any of this lot.

That doesn’t feel like a win.

We need to sort the defence out. Khusanov was starting to look immense before he got injured - surely time for another run.

We’ve been through this before with Josko when he played every game, was clearly getting physically and mentally exhausted and needed a break. A game or two on the bench might do him some good.

There is far too much cocking around in our own third under pressure and giving the ball away cheaply. We’re not winning anything doing that.

We look immense on the break but shite at the back - it’s like the early days of the first Keegan season where it seemed like we either scored 4 or conceded 4. Makes for an exciting game for the neutral but appalling for the the health of any Blue.

Off to bed for an early shift now but not feeling like I normally do after a win.

3 points though.
