I must agree yes he got g/a but it didn’t look like him and OR were on the same page. His passing was all over the place. But still happy he can play like that and still produceScored and got an assist caused them many problems. What were u watching? lol
Edited.Looked like we Played with 10 second half.
I thought they did. We were lucky to come away with a point at the Emirates in my opinion, although more because we just kept punting it out anywhere rather than trying to play out as opposed to them attacking us particularly effectively, but you always felt it was a matter of time before they scored that day.How on earth did Arsenal not batter us at their place?
I suppose the only good thing compared to last year is that we aren't losing those games where we absolutely bottle it.
Or how good their attack wasIt shows how bad our defendin was tonight, we conceded 4 their xG was 0.9.
Its not just our midfield though. It starts from the top. Haaland is lazy on the press, Doku chases after the ball has been passed to his man rather than start running to his man before the ball starts coming to him so he is under pressure at first touch. Once we cave in up top, their defenders simply bypass our forwards and then our defense drops off to avoid a ball over the top. Seeing as we are not playing our quickest central defender.I wasn’t convinced before but our midfield is truly awful. Still!
To be fair I would look a right player playing against our non existent midfield and woeful defence.I'd sign that Chukuweze guy on that game alone, looks a right player
Full of red nobheads and entitled city fans. This thread has an unusually high number of posts following a victory…
City are missing Rodri and Kovacic and we have a lot of games ahead. If Pep had left Gonzalez on and he had got injured, Pep would have been pilloried, and rightly so.That was brilliant, until a point when it wasn’t. Unsure if we aren’t up to speed, running on empty, or too arrogant to understand that playing for City in the PL, the game is never over.
Really enjoyed it though, very happy with the 3 points a couple of new records. Especially happy for Erling.
Pep highlighted this. He said we went to deep on the corners and dint defend the edge of the box at all.9 City players in the box for that and 4 (if not 5) Fulham players unmarked on the edge of the area. It’s just piss poor organisation.
He also would have been on instead of Savio100%.
He would have held onto possession on top of winning numerous fouls to take the pressure off.
He was also outstanding at SpursI'd sign that Chukuweze guy on that game alone, looks a right player
