As a team we covered 122km last night ! That is a high number. A lot of running yet only 42% possession. Players did look absolutely gassed at the end.
It looked like O Reilly cramped up.As a team we covered 122km last night ! That is a high number. A lot of running yet only 42% possession. Players did look absolutely gassed at the end.
It shows how low our standards have fallen, people on here are praying for Calvin Phillips to start against Sunderland, and for Grealish to come back.
Because we are all over the place, lack of focus and forever giving the ball way, much of it from careless passes that are completely unnecessary. As a team we covered 122km last night ! That is a high number. A lot of running yet only 42% possession. Players did look absolutely gassed at the end.
Unfortunately it’s not just the age thing now although that is part of it. Health wise but I’ll go as often as I can.Come on EB. Don’t call it a day just because getting closer to the day for a City player who you adore that their time maybe that they are to move on. Surely there has been other players who you’ve thought a lot of who have moved on. I know there’s been a fair few for me and some more than others. Age is just a number;)
Nope been thread banned and im way to stubborn to ask for it to be repealed as i didnt do owt wrong.Fucking happy clapper. That makes two of us :)
Btw, are you allowed back in the 115 charges thread, yet? I am on the "to be ignored" naughty step. It's like kindergarten in here sometimes.

We are not tiring the opposition, only ourselves.
Oh I was most definitely on the loving Jack bus. I actually liked him as a player at Villa, I first became aware of his playing tenacity in the 2020 League Cup final. Then, naturally I realised he was most pleasing on the eye... even though I'm old enough to be his mum! The fact he lives only a few miles from us makes the admiration even more alluring! And they say romance is dead.....)
That must’ve been how the opposition felt when we were at our possession based best and when we knew how to close the game.As a team we covered 122km last night ! That is a high number. A lot of running yet only 42% possession. Players did look absolutely gassed at the end.
Definitely off target.sorry if its been discussed but why the hell did doku not get the goal. surely it was on target
Precisely, most of them were not careless passes, but rather panic swinging the ball off foot. Reason? Our players don’t have reliable anchor outlets and they don’t have ball possession skills under pressure.Because we are all over the place, lack of focus and forever giving the ball way, much of it from careless passes that are completely unnecessary.

A player on the centre spot was the classic tactic decades ago when facing a corner..
I'd go one further. I would leave one player, on the centre spot. How many defenders would not be able to go up for corners. I'm sure it must gave been done somewhere in the past but I can't remember

Should be same rules for all but its not and im not one to stand on ceremony for 'celebs'Yes, you did. You hurt the feewings of "he who must be bewieved". Shocking behaviour. Apparently. Never mind, it's probably a blessing with the quality of posts in there at the moment.
How about picking up the free players on the edge of the box, cuts out the second ball either a cross back into the box or a shotPrecisely, most of them were not careless passes, but rather panic swinging the ball off foot. If this is the case booting the ball down the pitch is better than having passes intercepted in dangerous areas. We should be putting a low block in place, like at Arsenal, in such cases and counter with Big Earl and Doku.Precisely, most of them were not careless passes, but rather panic swinging the ball off foot. That would be a reasonable tactic. Many our players didn’t know that they are not good passers under pressure and also too proud to just boot the ball or maybe Pep would not allow it.If this is the case booting the ball down the pitch is better than having passes intercepted in dangerous areas.
