Fulham (A) Post Match Thread

Good result vs an inform team when we had a different line up as in 3-4-3 from the start. And 3 players that hardly touched a ball this last 3-4 months.

Loads of drama queens on match thread up until half time eating their words.
 
Solid if unspectacular performance with a set piece, penalty and a mistake for the goals. No surprise with most of the creative midfield given the day off. Good to see Sergio on the scoresheet. No complaints at all.

Happy with that. They pushed us for a half, well they kept it tight for a half as they didn't offer much (which I thought they would) then we went into second gear and ended the game relatively easily.

Gabby MOTM for me, Stones is immense he's surely England's number 1 centre half, and over the moon to see Sergio get 90 minutes in, and score again, will do him the world of good.
 
Excellent result against a team much better than their league position suggests.

New formation kind of worked, although the midfield was much more evenly contested than usual, due to fewer numbers.

Pleased that Sergio scored and stopped the constant bleating of him not scoring for 14 months.

Mendy was solid too, which is good to have in a squad player.

Mad to think that Arsenal now can’t finish above us, unless they make up 36 goals. They’ve got 11 games left!
