Fulham (A) Post Match Thread

The commentator on the stream I was watching noticed that our players were all looking around and working out what Fulham were up to, how they were set up and where best to position themselves to combat them. It reminds me of something I read, when Pep was reporting back to Khaldoon and he showed him video of our players doing similar very early on in his tenure. Showing that once the players learnt his methods they were starting to think for themselves. Testament to Pep's ethos and management. Once we figured it out, then the 2nd half was ours. Loved it. Prob one of reasons I felt strangely calm and knew we'd win it. A vere rare feeling for me :)

As I’ve said elsewhere, he won’t get the game time with us to get the sharpness back.
I hope you are wrong about that, I have supported city for over 40 years and I have to say he is my favourite player (just above David Silva for me although I know many who disagree with that), so it is very important to have a living legend still doing the business.

I hope Fulham stay up they tried to play and attack us unlike others who defend for 90mins also Scott Parker always respectful to the other team win lose or draw

Not buying the Scott Parker love in.

Played without a striker for 70 odd minutes. No shot on target, zero threat. .
Southampton on the other hand. They caused us real problems and had a real go.
Fulham were as conservative as most teams we play but got caught fucking around at the back

This "English" manager thing makes me laugh too. Have a look at the relegation fight. All English managers, except sheffield united who sacked their English manager. Lampard gone.

Dean Smith is the best of them but doesnt get credit for some reason. He's done a remarkable job.

Sean Dyche the most consistently successful but again not fashionable

Very true. They play some good stuff out from the back, They have nothing creative in midfield a lot of players that are tidy on the ball but none of which capable of trying something to open teams up it's basically just try and keep the ball but not hurting the opposition on top of that they have nothing in the final third other than hoping Lookman creates something out of nothing.
Really don't know why he doesn't start Mitrovic, Maybe if "Scotty" stopped pretending he's something that he's not and actually played Mitovic they wouldn't be in the bottom three.
