De Bruyne was practically walking around the pitch at the 55 minute mark on Tuesday night. Too many games in too few days for him.

Why has Pep dropped O’Rieley of late, who's been a bit of a revelation for us, to shoehorn a player that I like but who has been abysmal since MD1 in Akanji? Gvardiol is so much better at CB than LB on top of that.

A reasonably strong side, probably all we could put out with the exception of De Bruyne possibly starting. For me it proves how much we need to strengthen in the summer. Losing Kev and given how disappointing this season has been the club needs a lift. Two top and I mean top quality signings should give us that. Losing out on Wirtz has been a downer.
