This is the time to increase the pressure on an Arsenal team who have just dropped points ...... win Tuesdays game at Fulham and we're only two points adrift of them , admittedly we'll have played a game more, but they still have to come to our place ..... the more nervous and twitchy we can make Arsenal, the better .. with a bit of luck it might even ruin their Christmas!

Mind you Arsenal play Brentford on Wednesday night, so any two point gap we create might not last that long !

away from home so far in PL:
Arsenal draw
Brentford win
Wolves win
Brighton loss
Villa loss
Newcastle loss

Fulham at home only has one loss vs Arsenal (tight 0-1) so far. they beat Sunderland, Leeds, brentford, Wolves and drew rags.

if we only have one decent half again then its probably a draw or loss which is is just not good enough as we have more trickier away games still quite few (Liverpool, Chelsea, Palace, Bournemouth, rags, spurs) etc.

only win I can see if we do a clean sheet 1-0 or tight 2-1.

I think Nunes needs to sit the next one out after that 2nd half display.
I'd like to see The Don with a back 4 of Stones Dias Gvardiol and O'Reilly.
Fulham won't sit back as much as in the past, I suspect, so hopefully they'll leave some gaps for us to exploit.
In front, probably Doku Gonzales Foden and Haaland.
Marmoush deserves a run; Bernardo might need a rest. So, not sure about the final two names.
Stones - Too slow to play RB in the PL any more IMO !!

Sorry:0(

The City team is lacking stability. A lot of people don’t understand what is stability and don’t rate its importance. They like direct game plays, like in the second half with Leeds. The problem is that your opponent will get a lot of chances too. Stabilising the game is not a mind set but combination of experience and skills. I expect the team will have a roller coaster game with Fulham again.
Is 10 changes between 2 games stability?

Or bringing on 3 subs at half time, after making 10 changes stability??

Cos I may know some one who may need a refresher in what stability is ??!!! :0)

LOL

you do notice that Nico G has always been there. you just need a couple of players to stabilize the team. that couple of players are CMs/CDMs. changing 10 players or half time 3 changes doesn't relate to the stabilization on Pitch I'm talking about.

Eight matches in 30 days make it virtually impossible to perform well with the same starting eleven. Fatigue will eventually set in, and for the substitutes to contribute, they need to feel involved and be in decent physical condition. I want us to keep attacking options on the bench. I'm going to give Nunes, O'Reilly, and Doku a bit of a rest, and bring them on with Cherki in the 55th minute. Fulham, who played on Saturday like us, expended a lot of energy at Tottenham; I expect them to be exhausted by the hour mark.

For the home game against Sunderland, which also looks difficult, I'll start with the same eleven as against Bournemouth and Liverpool, that is, with Cherki, Doku, Nunes, and O'Reilly.

My starting eleven for Fulham

Donnarumma

Stones
Dias
Khusanov
Gvardiol ( Ake )

Nico G
Bernardo
Reijnders

Foden
Marmoush
Haaland

Leaving out Bernardo and Doku, 2 of the more consistent performers recently.

Can you not shoehorn Savinho into your line up as well :-)
I know! Dropping our most creative player to get a lad who played wingback for Wolves who’s looked bang average and is off to Afcon soon. Bizarre
