The problem with us this season is our away form it’s not been good I’am not sure how this game will play out ..

Winning on 75 mins: Replace Reijnders or Cherki, depending on their respective impact, with Bernardo, patrolling around Nico (4-2-3-1/4-5-1)

Losing on 60 mins: Replace Nunes with Marmoush down the right and drop into a 2-2-3-3, with Doku on the wing and O’Reilly at LDM and Cherki/Foden/Reijnders across the attacking third with a front three. This also allows us to move O’Reilly even further forward into our favored, smothering attacking set up of 2-1-4-3.

Drawing on 65 mins: Replace Reijnders with Marmoush upfront and keep the dynamic FBs, and go into a 2-3-3-2, that can transition into our 2-1-4-3, but only when we have them penned in on their back foot.

Newcastle loss

Fulham at home only has one loss vs Arsenal (tight 0-1) so far. they beat Sunderland, Leeds,brentford, Wolves and drew rags.

if we only have one decent half again then its probably a draw or loss which is is just not good enough as we have more trickier away games still quite few (Liverpool, Chelsea, Palace, Bournemouth, rags, spurs) etc.

only win I can see if we do a clean sheet 1-0 or tight 2-1.

It's strange though, those 3 losses could have gone either way and draws would have been fair results in all of them.

With the short turn around we need to rotate and a couple of players need to see the bench. Gvardiol needs taking out the side. Seems to be making more mistakes atm. Bernardo needs to be rested - we saw last season what happens if he isn't given ample rest.

Ait-Nori been rubbish but I think (hope) he will be fine once he gets some games and settles. Whatever you say about his first touch atm, last season Marmoush worked well with Haaland and he knows where the goal is. We need some energy and physicality in the midfield other than Nico G so I think its time to give Oreily a go there.

I like this line up and like you would love to see NOR in the middle.Although I detest Bellingham and think he's lazy and probably overrated he is a quality player, o'reilly for me though,can be a better player if he keeps improving. He has all the attributes to be great in the centre, but only by been played there regularly.

Yep Haaland is our best set piece defender at the moment.

But the argument would be that leaving our best two attackers up the pitch would force them to leave their centre backs and a couple of others for cover (no one is going to want to go one on one with Haaland or Doku) to mark them leaving less of a threat from the set piece. I played Sunday football with guys that had varying levels of hangover. So don't worry about calling me out if I am talking shite.

This is the time to increase the pressure on an Arsenal team who have just dropped points ...... win Tuesdays game at Fulham and we're only two points adrift of them , admittedly we'll have played a game more, but they still have to come to our place ..... the more nervous and twitchy we can make Arsenal, the better .. with a bit of luck it might even ruin their Christmas!

Mind you Arsenal play Brentford on Wednesday night, so any two point gap we create might not last that long !

you do notice that Nico G has always been there. you just need a couple of players to stabilize the team. that couple of players are CMs/CDMs. changing 10 players or half time 3 changes doesn't relate to the stabilization on Pitch I'm talking about.

But currently Nico G is the only Fit CM/CDM

Bernardo is The Swiss Army Knife of a player, puts a shift in wherever you play:0)

Rico Lewis at CM/CDM???

We need a more balanced CDM who plays that role regularly!!

Nunes and Doku not been great the last couple of games. He seems to love Savino. Gvardiol has knee issue and Stones is also due a go so that’s why I think he will go with that side.
