They should all play on Wednesday evening, but the Premier League have unfortunately allowed TV to dominate the fixtures...

Naturally followed by Sunday.

Their fixtures last couple of years, they basically play when no one else does. It's only when you turn the tele or radio on you realise they have a game.

Why do people keep namimg Ait Nouri, not a chance I'd chance him in a tough away game.

Minutes off the bench in a home game if we are winning well.

No time for fucking about with someone who has done nowt, looks half arsed and will be protecting himself for Afcon.

Because you have to protect young players like O'Reilly, physically mainly, shouldn't be playing every 3 days. Especially in such a demanding position. Last thing we want is him getting injured.

Donnarumma, Nunes, O‘Reilly, Dias, Nico G, Bernardo, Foden, Doku and Haaland pretty much pick themselves. I‘d play Stones.
Choice between Gvardiol and Cherki for the last spot. Gvardiol at left back, with O‘Reilly left of a midfield three. Or Cherki from the right and Foden as the 10 in front of Bernardo and Gonzalez.
I‘d probably do the former - bit more solid, and Cherki as an option from the bench.

Every game is important right now, you can't just play the same 11 every 3-4 days from now til the end of the season.

Normally I'd be with you but the lad looks like he's up to it. He's an absolute physical specimen. A proper athlete. He can play 3 times a week no problem for me.

I think we'll see more changes tonight, as the games are coming thick and fast now. Plus the starting XI on Saturday didn't exactly cover themselves in glory.

I'd drop Nunes, just because his clanger was when it all started to go wrong and he's still prone to too many costly mistakes. Think we could see Khusanov and Stones come into the back four, with Gvardiol moving to left back. Stones can push into midfield to help Gonzalez out, leaving a back three of Khusanov, Dias and Gvardiol. Further forward, I think Cherki will start so either Bernardo or Reijnders drop to the bench.

I think our title chances rest almost entirely on him being back this month as Nico G is already looking knackered and less effective than he was 6 weeks ago.

Guardiola keeps suggesting that he's not far away, but feels like they're taking no chances this time. Wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him this side of Christmas.

If that's the case I really don't think Gonzalez can do 6 more games in the next 18 days and play at any kind of level, we're going to have to find someone else to play there.
