Believe me when Pep has players who he trusts he will play them a lot, if you're being rested often then he's deciding if you are any better than the other guy.

At the moment i think his biggest headache is on the right and the 3rd mid when Silva has to rest. Rodri Kovacic being out and Rudy Cherki Savinho not currently pulling up trees is the problem, and also where to play mamoush.

Marmoush isn't a good option though. He's no better than Gabriel Jesus imo, and he wasn't a particularly good option.

I'd love to see him do well, but you just know that if he does come into form, it'll be just before he jets off to join the Egyptian squad for AFCON.

What does sense have to do with anything? The amount of games I see (not just City ones either) where the away team has no real need to wear their away kit, but do so anyway, is staggering. Marketing, I suppose. Gotta get more punters to part with their hard earned on the latest monstrosity our kit suppliers have foisted on us.
