Do we know this is to check the identity of the ticket holder or just a simple cockup in that they didn't buy enough stamps to post them out?

Looking for one in the neutral or away end, face value. There's a couple of hundred tickets on sale on the Fulham site in the home end, which I don't fancy.

I had tickets for the Putney home end last season. I just walked along where the bars are and up the stairs into the City end.
No stewards checked my tickets, but it’s a gamble I suppose

Don't want to name and shame but I'm not looking for a £125 ticket in the Riverside stand as I've been offered and I'm still hopeful of a spare single in the away end, at face value should one come up.

The away end isn’t on general sale. Sold out weeks ago. The club wants to ensure the tickets aren’t being sold on and are being used by the original buyer.

Massive pain in the arse I agree but I’d be surprised if it doesn’t happen more often next season.

Something we might have to get used to I’m afraid. Along with the new ST rules.
